Shakeout operator wanted in Blaine County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a shakeout operator in Blaine County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture. Ideal candidate: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry Full-time, day shift.
