Punch press operator — Barnstable County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a punch press operator in Barnstable County, Massachusetts. The job is in a forging and pressing unit. The role involves: • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
