Urgent requirement: we are hiring a butcher in Jackson County, Indiana. On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Season and marinate meat on request Requirements: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Clean, presentable and friendly at the counter • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
