Tiling assistant — Dubuque County

Now hiring: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Dubuque County, Iowa. Your main tasks: • Set out mosaic sheets and trim them to fit the edges • Level large-format tiles with a tile levelling system • Fit skirting tiles, step nosings and external corner trims • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Screed and prepare uneven floors before tiling • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away What we are looking for: • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • Knowledge of waterproofing and substrate preparation At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
