Immediate opening: gas meter installer (California)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Sutter County, California. You will be based in a gas distribution network. Requirements: • Valid gas fitter's licence and Gas Safe (or local) registration • Able to read isometric and site drawings The role involves fit flexible connection hoses and bayonet fittings to the appliances; test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; thread, ream and join black iron pipe with pipe wrenches and thread sealant; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply. At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $3,900 per month plus benefits. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Six days a week, one day off.
