Hoist operator — Hendry County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a hoist operator in Hendry County, Florida. You will work at a precast concrete yard. You should have: • Able to read load charts and lifting plans • Understanding of hand and radio signals The role involves: • Carry out pre-start checks on the crane, wire ropes and hook block • Read and interpret the load chart before every lift • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Keep every lift within the safe working load (SWL) • Hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
