Shuttering charge hand — Kennebec County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a shuttering charge hand in Kennebec County, Maine. Your main tasks: • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Cut and assemble plywood and timber panels for columns, beams and slabs • Erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb • Brace and strut the formwork to stop movement during the pour • Watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints What we are looking for: • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
