Overhead (EOT) crane operator — Bonneville County

Great opportunity: we are hiring an overhead (EOT) crane operator in Bonneville County, Idaho. You will work in a steel fabrication workshop. Day to day you will fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; rig and sling loads using slings, shackles and spreader beams; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Ideal candidate: • Understanding of hand and radio signals • Valid crane operator licence or certificate (CPCS, NPORS or local equivalent) Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
