Great opportunity: we are hiring a steam press operator in Burnet County, Texas. You will be based in a busy laundry. On the job you will handle: • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Rotating shifts.
