Elevator technician — Schuyler County

Now hiring: we are hiring an elevator technician in Schuyler County, New York. Day to day you will fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Ability to read electrical and wiring schematics 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. Pay around $21 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
