Fabricator-welder — Edwards County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fabricator-welder in Edwards County, Illinois. You will be based in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. You should have: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination Day-to-day duties: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Full-time, day shift.
