Now hiring: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Curry County, Oregon. Day-to-day duties: • Topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet You should have: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • ITI / tailoring certificate is a plus • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines Full-time with occasional weekends.
