Immediate opening: refrigeration service engineer (Virginia)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Nottoway County, Virginia. You should have: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Valid driving licence for field call-outs The role involves: • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system • Clean condenser and evaporator coils • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
