Immediate opening: we are hiring a single needle operator in Nantucket County, Massachusetts. The role involves: • Thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line You should have: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
