Tiling assistant — Searcy County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a tiling assistant in Searcy County, Arkansas. The job is at a busy tiling site. On the job you will handle: • Run silicone sealant into corners and expansion joints • Apply a waterproofing membrane in showers and wet areas • Spread adhesive with a notched trowel and back-butter the tiles • Check the falls to floor wastes so the water drains away • Cut ceramic and porcelain tiles on a manual tile cutter • Grout the joints and wipe off the excess with a damp sponge Ideal candidate: • Able to read setting-out drawings and tile layouts • 2+ years' hands-on tiling experience • Familiar with porcelain, ceramic, mosaic and natural stone At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $25 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
