Now hiring: we are hiring an aluminium TIG welder in Union County, Ohio. The job is at a busy fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Day-to-day duties: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks 2+ years on the tools preferred.
