Dry lining plasterer — North Tyneside

We are recruiting: we are hiring a dry lining plasterer in North Tyneside, England. The job is on a commercial fit-out project. Ideal candidate: • Good head for heights for ceiling and stairwell work • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline • Willing to work on both new build and refurbishment sites The role involves: • Dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming • Apply scratch coats and key the surface for the next coat • Apply bonding and browning undercoats to brickwork and blockwork • Check walls for plumb and level as you go • Clean trowels, buckets and mixers before the plaster sets • Set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Performance bonus on top of base pay. £2,750 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
