Rebar worker — Westchester County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a rebar worker in Westchester County, New York. You will be based on an infrastructure project such as a metro or flyover. Your main tasks: • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat You should have: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules Pay around $4,100 per month, based on your experience.
