Slinger signaller — Cleveland County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a slinger signaller in Cleveland County, Oklahoma. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. What we are looking for: • Proven experience as a rigger on construction or industrial sites • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces Day-to-day duties: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Calculate load weight and centre of gravity before every lift • Guide loads through tight openings into their final position Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
