Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear The role involves: • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Fit tag lines to control and steady suspended loads • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew.
