Sand plant operator • Hughes County, Oklahoma

Great opportunity: we are hiring a sand plant operator in Hughes County, Oklahoma. You will work at an aluminium die-casting plant. Requirements: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor Day-to-day duties: • Maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
