Stitching operator — Berkeley County

Now hiring: we are hiring a stitching operator in Berkeley County, South Carolina. The job is at a busy garment factory. Ideal candidate: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance You will trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; keep an even stitch density (SPI) and a straight, consistent seam line; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift.
