Shuttering fixer • Nelson County, Kentucky

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a shuttering fixer in Nelson County, Kentucky. You will be based on a busy high-rise construction site. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking On a typical shift you will check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; watch the formwork during concreting and tighten up any movement; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Rotating shifts. $4,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
