Tower crane operator — Erie County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a tower crane operator in Erie County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging The role involves: • Work out the load weight and the lifting radius • Climb and inspect the tower crane mast and tie-ins • Set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground • Watch the load moment indicator (LMI) and stay within rated capacity • Follow hand signals and radio calls from the banksman or slinger Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
