We are recruiting: we are hiring a kitchen porter in Wayne County, North Carolina. You will be based in a catering unit. Your main tasks: • Clean extractor-hood filters and degrease the walls • Sort, dry and return clean plates and bowls to the kitchen stations • Hand-wash pots, pans and trays using the three-sink wash-rinse-sanitise method • Scrub out grease traps and clear blocked drains and gullies You should have: • Careful handling of cleaning chemicals and degreasers • Keen eye for cleanliness and kitchen hygiene standards • Previous experience in a busy commercial kitchen preferred Full-time with occasional weekends.
