Pressman wanted in Lowndes County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a pressman in Lowndes County, Alabama. Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Able to keep pace with line speed and piece targets • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work On a typical shift you will spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching. We offer $30 per hour plus benefits. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
