Immediate opening: we are hiring a cake decorator in Lassen County, California. You will be based in a bread factory. The role involves pipe and fill cakes, pastries and cream rolls; proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them; score the top of loaves before baking; shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand; monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch; boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing. Ideal candidate: • Able to work early-morning and night shifts • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics We offer $4,400 per month plus benefits.
