Requirements: • Basic grinding and fettling skills • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards The role involves: • Skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
