Rigging foreman — Bradley County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a rigging foreman in Bradley County, Arkansas. You will work at a shipyard. Day to day you will select the correct slings, shackles and chains for each load's weight; tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use; establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area. Ideal candidate: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
