Presser — Laurel County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in Laurel County, Kentucky. You will work in a tailoring workshop. On the job you will handle: • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics • Remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron • Press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching • Shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board • Hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing Ideal candidate: • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. We offer $5,500 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
