Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machinist in Putnam County, Florida. The job is at a knitwear stitching unit. The role involves: • Meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Match notches and ply, lining up checks and stripes before stitching • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Comfortable working long hours seated at a fast line • Able to read a spec sheet and follow a sewing operation breakdown On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
