Machine operator (earthworks) — Washington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Washington County, Ohio. Day to day you will lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; track the machine on and off low-loaders for transport; inspect tracks, bucket teeth and pins for wear before start-up; backfill trenches and compact the fill in layers. What we are looking for: • Physically fit for long hours in the cab on outdoor sites • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site 3+ years on the tools preferred. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
