Plant operator (dozer) — Mahaska County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a plant operator (dozer) in Mahaska County, Iowa. You will be based at a civil contractor's yard. The role involves grade and level subgrade for roads, pads and platforms; cut and fill ground to the levels marked on the grade stakes; grease pins and bushes and check undercarriage tension daily; clear land of trees, stumps and debris before earthworks begin; operate crawler dozers to push and spread fill across the site; work to the dig plan and the banksman's signals. Requirements: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Safety awareness around banksmen, trucks and other plant 5+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends.
