Panel welder • Carbon County, Montana

We are recruiting: we are hiring a panel welder in Carbon County, Montana. You will be based at a steel fabrication workshop. On a typical shift you will strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; grind back and re-weld any defective runs. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough. $3,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
