Digger driver wanted in Botetourt County

Now hiring: we are hiring a digger driver in Botetourt County, Virginia. The job is in a demolition and site-clearance yard. Day to day you will work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter; dig foundation trenches and footings to the marked depths and levels; strip and stockpile topsoil ready for reuse; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Requirements: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Comfortable with GPS or laser machine control • Able to read drawings, setting-out pegs and level pegs At least 3 year(s) in a similar role.
