Slinger signaller wanted in White County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a slinger signaller in White County, Illinois. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Confident with standard crane hand signals Your main tasks: • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Tag and quarantine any damaged or out-of-date rigging gear • Direct the crane operator with standard hand signals and radio • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit 6+ years on the tools preferred.
