Toolroom milling operator • Mathews County, Virginia

Now hiring: we are hiring a toolroom milling operator in Mathews County, Virginia. You will work at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; set up and operate vertical and horizontal milling machines; carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough.
