Immediate opening: we are hiring a moulder in Batagarawa, Katsina State. You will cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture; skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; check melt temperature with a pyrometer before pouring; pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles. What we are looking for: • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards 2+ years on the tools preferred. ₦205,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
