Now hiring: we are hiring a heavy equipment operator in Hancock County, Illinois. You will work at a drainage and utilities contractor. Your main tasks: • Carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels • Work safely around buried services with a banksman or spotter • Grade, level and batter slopes to the required gradient • Clear sites, demolish structures and load out muck and rubble You should have: • Proven experience on 360 tracked excavators (8t–30t) • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat 5+ years on the tools preferred.
