Delivery truck driver — Tompkins County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a delivery truck driver in Tompkins County, New York. Ideal candidate: • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Confident with manual handling and load securing • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules Day-to-day duties: • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Complete delivery notes, CMR paperwork and proof-of-delivery • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Carry out daily walk-around vehicle checks before setting off 6+ years on the tools preferred.
