Immediate opening: we are hiring a glazing installer in Logan County, Illinois. The role involves: • Fit double-glazed sealed units into frames • Glaze shopfronts, curtain walls and glass partitions • Cut glass to size using a glass cutter and running pliers • Apply putty, silicone and glazing tape to bed the glass • Install mirrors, shower screens and glass balustrades Ideal candidate: • Confident handling and lifting heavy glass panes • Aware of safe glass handling and PPE such as cut-resistant gloves 2+ years on the tools preferred.
