Join our team: foundry labourer (Tennessee)

Immediate opening: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Moore County, Tennessee. You will be based at a brass and bronze foundry. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to work in hot, dusty conditions and rotating shifts • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings Your main tasks: • Melt scrap metal and ingots in induction or cupola furnaces • Mix and recondition moulding sand to the right moisture • Pour molten metal into the moulds using hand or crane ladles • Apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes 3+ years on the tools preferred.
