Great opportunity: we are hiring a LGV Class 1 driver in Cook County, Georgia. Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Keep a safe following distance, adjusting for weather and load At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
