AC mechanic — Forsyth County

Vacancy available: we are hiring an AC mechanic in Forsyth County, Georgia. The job is at a refrigeration and cooling firm. Day-to-day duties: • Check superheat and subcooling to confirm the correct gas charge • Fault-find on PCBs, sensors and compressors with a multimeter • Cut, flare and bend copper pipe for the liquid and suction lines • Commission the unit and test cooling, heating and airflow • Braze pipe joints and pressure-test with dry nitrogen for leaks • Recover the refrigerant before dismantling or relocating a unit What we are looking for: • ITI in refrigeration and air conditioning an advantage • Able to handle refrigerant safely and aware of F-Gas rules • Can read electrical and piping schematics 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
