Ceiling and wall plasterer — Crawford County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a ceiling and wall plasterer in Crawford County, Iowa. You will be based on a busy domestic building site. You will patch and repair cracked, blown or hollow plaster; apply tanking and renovating plaster to damp walls; tape and joint plasterboard seams with scrim and filler; polish the final coat with a steel trowel and water brush; set up trestles and scaffold boards for ceiling work; dub out hollows and uneven areas before skimming. What we are looking for: • Own set of trowels, floats, hawk and buckets • Proven experience hand-skimming and floating to a flat finish • Able to read drawings and set out work to a deadline Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
