Quality assurance assistant — Travis County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a quality assurance assistant in Travis County, Texas. You will be based at a pharmaceutical packaging facility. You should have: • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T symbols You will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; draw samples from batches according to AQL sampling plans; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; measure finished parts with vernier callipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges. 4+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Pay around $3,300 per month, based on your experience. Share your details and we will call you back.
