Falsework carpenter — Gaston County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a falsework carpenter in Gaston County, North Carolina. On a typical shift you will set up adjustable steel props and falsework to support the slab decking; erect wall and column formwork to line, level and plumb; box out openings for doors, windows and service penetrations; apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting; seal panel joints and hold the correct concrete cover to prevent grout loss; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure. Requirements: • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Able to keep pace with tight pour schedules Full-time, day shift.
