Urgent requirement: we are hiring a presser in McLennan County, Texas. The job is at a garment factory. Day-to-day duties: • Sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number • Clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents • Check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots • Meet the daily piece target without damaging garments • Fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press Ideal candidate: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
