Blocklayer — Gujba

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Gujba, Yobe State. You will work at a residential building site. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) • Comfortable working at height on scaffolding On a typical shift you will forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go. Six days a week, one day off. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Apply today to start as soon as possible.
