Immediate opening: hand presser (Texas)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Burleson County, Texas. You will fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. Ideal candidate: • 1-2 years' experience pressing garments in a factory • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $2,900 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
